Had an absolutely great stay! Our family of 5 stayed in one of the cabins and loved the grounds! We were there during a heatwave and pretty much lived at the pool, but also VERY much appreciated the air conditioning in the cabin.
Our area in front of the cabin was SO cute, well shaded and great for having a fire and visiting. The kids loved the extra activities like the mining and the available bikes.
We also loved how quiet it was but still so close to stores and restaurants in Kingston. ♥️
It was our first time at this location. We loved that it wasn't too far off the highway and that the cabins we stayed in were clean. However it would have been nice to know that our second cabin was in the middle of the forested area where the mosquitoes were HORRENDOUS. Yes we brought bug spray and had appropriate clothing but our first cabin was not infested by them. Also it would have been nice if we could have stayed both nights in the same cabin but for a last minute trip, we made do. The RV sites were well kept and our friends enjoyed their stay. When booking cabins, be sure to ask what's in the cabin beforehand so that you're not bringing your whole house and then some. It would have also been nice to know about extra costs like ice cream socials and Sunday morning pancake breakfast ahead of time instead of me frantically searching reviews and the website and didn't get a clear answer until we were there. The owners were lovely and so were the staff. Would definitely go back
We went to a trip here for abit, the cabins were nice, they were organized. and the swings are very fun! The thing that made me rate a 4 star is that the pool there was full of bugs ( Especially in the deep end ) and felt very oily on the skin and hair. And the pool said it was 5ft (In the deep end) But I'm not sure it's accurate. It is very fun, it had a zipline/park, a dog park, and pancake breakfast on Sunday, i had a great stay here though.
We love this place for our travel trailer and always make this a stop on trips east or to the US. The patio sites are perfect. Great spacing. Great management. Friendly staff. Strategically just north of Kingston so you can get to highways and the city easily.
Nice spot especially for kids. Staff at office/ check-in were great. Only miss was failure to deliver the firewood I bought so no campfire even though I asked about it.
Still good rating. If camping in the area especially with kids would give it another chance.
Are stay was great! we had a leak with our water connection to our trailer, Patrick tried to help us out by providing us with a washer and some tools. The park was very peaceful and well kept and the staff we interacted with were very polite and professional. Thanks again we look forward to our return one day.
The campground is far away from the city. The slots are big enough but the men sanitaries were very dirty for 2 days. Other than that the staff is nice, Uber possible to use to go downtown.
We've been coming here for years now, and what a great place. We usually rent a cabin. Staff are friendly and campground is beautiful. Lots to do. There's a beach 15 minutes away and a drive in 30 minutes away. We'll definitely be back
